Greetings from Sunny Miami, It's DJ Irie with an all new edition of the Irie Music Newsletter for June, my birthday month! All of you Cancer's and Gemini's get ready to PARTY!! So much has been going on since the last newsletter that I could hardly wait to start on the next one. So here it is! I'm extremely happy to announce that Simply Fit has signed on as the title presenter for Irie Weekend 2008. Simply Fit is a new calorie burning, sugar free, caffeine-free premium functional beverage. I had the pleasure of tasting a few of their flavors at our initial meeting and the stuff is the TRUTH! I had the strawberry kiwi, lemon tea and the new blueberry flavor and all of them were tasty but the blueberry was my favorite! It's great to have a product that is health conscious and something I can really believe in and enjoy, having them as the title sponsor for my most meaningful event of the year is a perfect fit. This is the 12th year of the Groove and it just keeps getting better, especially with the addition of Miami HEAT superstar Dwyane Wade now a part of the action. This 12th year is very significant not only because I've performed at ZSG events for the past 7 years but Alonzo Mourning and his unparallel philanthropic efforts served as my inspiration in creating Irie Weekend and embrace taking an active role in the betterment of my community. I've always looked up to Alonzo and what the Groove has been able to achieve over the years. This year I will serve on the host committee under the tutelage of my very good friend and committee chair Jerry Powers, President, Publishing Division of Niche Media Holdings, LLC and co-founder of Ocean Drive Media Group. Ocean Drive Magazine is also one of the title sponsors of ZSG and will be providing media coverage of the entire event. Look for me to perform at the ZSG Comedy Show at the Hard Rock Live on July 12th and the ZSG All Star Basketball Game at the AmericanAirlines Arena on July 13th. Adidas After the wildly successful launch of the DJ Irie x adidas EQT BBall shoe in 2007, adidas has decided to announce a new partnership deal to launch 2 new DJ Irie branded sneakers by 2009. Lookout for more info on this as we plan on documenting the entire development process for everyone to witness how a shoe is created from inception to the store shelves.

XM Satellite Radio DJ Irie will be making his foray into Satellite radio in 2008 by taking the hottest Friday night party on South Beach (Flash Friday's at Club Cameo) live across the globe. Irie will be jointing the "Friday Night Live" Dj team on The City XM 67 once a month starting in July.

Verizon Wireless Irie Music, Corp. is has partnered with Verizon Wireless to be the exclusive wireless provider for DJ Irie and IMC team I will be performing at 3 - 4 Verizon Wireless in store events per year and host Verizon Wireless lounge in the American Airlines Arena. Apple DJ Irie will make a very special live performance inside the Apple store on Lincoln road, south beach on June 25 in recognition of black music month. This is truly an honor to be selected as the only DJ in this series of performances inside Apple stores across the country. XXL Magazine Pick up the July issue of XXL Magazine to DJ Irie's take on the history of Miami's music scene. The author Rob Markman does a great job going down the timeline of the evolution of Miami music.

SLAM Magazine All you basketball heads out there make sure you checkout the July issue of SLAM Magazine on newsstands now. The "Hype - Dime Drop" section has a great interview with DJ Irie that goes all the way back to the early days.
