Greetings From The Bahamas,                        Happy Birthday to US! The IRIE Music Newsletter turns one year old this month. Time REALLY flies when you're having fun because I can't believe it's been a whole year since I've been penning the newsletter. I gotta give a big shout to my man Seth Combs for being the driving force to start the newsletter and for many of the original subscribers that got the inaugural edition I introduced a new social media called twitter. I invited everyone that was an IRIE Music Newsletter subscriber to "follow me" on twitter back in March of 2008 and back then hardly anyone had even heard of it. Now in the last 2 to 3 months twitter is all the rage everyone is shouting to "follow me". That's a beautiful thing but much props to the early adapters that followed my advice and got involved early.                        Going forward lookout for even more content rich newsletters, with exclusive behind the scenes images and video and even some contest content for chances to win some really cool stuff. Plus for those of us connected on the social network platforms (MySpace, Facebook, asmallworld etc.) you'll witness A LOT more activity on my networks with constant event updates and first look content from the amazing events we have coming up.                        March is here and indeed it is madness! From Spring Break events to Winter Music Conference to Miami Fashion Week there's a host of events we have coming up for the rest of the month. I'll be making 4 trips in total to The Bahamas this month to rock out for college students from all over the country on their spring break vacation then gearing up for Winter Music Conference. WMC is always an amazing time in miami as many of the best talents in music industry flock to Miami Beach for a week of sun, fun and MUSIC! Anyone heading down to this year’s conference should certainly checkout the hometown hero’s at the ArtistRelated showcase going down at Dolce on Thursday the 26.
